More About Us

The Sourcing

We have fair trade (certified), and ethical sourcing relationships with our manufacturers. Our bamboo is ethically sourced in SE Asia, we package, assemble, and engrave all products in Portland, Oregon.

The Sustainability

Our products all have biodegradable, compostable, and recyclable properties. We have no plastic components in our packaging, and it can all be recycled. We use non-toxic ink for our packaging as well.

The Spark

I have worked in the dental industry for over 10 years, I have worked as a Dental Hygienist going on 8 years and have seen the vast amounts of plastic waste within the dental industry. Plastic toothbrushes, floss, tongue scrapers, and other aides are given out after a dental appointment. My patients started to inquire as well, where they could get more eco-friendly products. I thought to myself, "this industry, MY industry needs to change, and I can do my part in helping with that mission". If we all make small, easy steps in reducing plastic waste in our lives, we will see the difference. This is how PANGA began!

The Differentiator

PANGA was founded and is operated by me, a Dental Hygienist! I see first hand the effects of poor oral hygiene. I have also seen other bamboo toothbrushes on the market that have medium, hard, or even charcoal infused bristles that can actually cause irreversible damage to one's enamel. PANGA toothbrushes have soft bristles that are safe and effective. I have the expertise to know how and why my products need to work well.

The Favorite

The most popular product has been our tongue scraper! I recommend a tongue scraper to most of my patients. The tongue scraper removes bacteria that accumulates on the tongue, that can cause bad breath and hinder taste bud efficacy. This concept is new to some people, but they notice such a difference with their breath! It's a game changer, and most importantly, it's recyclable.

The Motto

Care for your mouth. Care for our planet.
